Areas of Study
The Department of Art and Art History offers undergraduate programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree and the Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art and the Bachelor of Arts degree in Art History. The department offers graduate programs leading to the Master of Arts degree in Studio Art and Art History, and the Master of Fine Arts degree in Studio Art.
The Department of Art and Art History is part of the College of Arts and Sciences and is centrally located on the campus of The University of Alabama. All programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).
