Fall Exhibition of UA Studio Grad Students Opens Sept. 7

The University of Alabama Department of Art and Art History presents its annual fall Studio Graduate Student Show, in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery, September 7 through October 8, 2021.

The exhibition is an opportunity for new students to introduce themselves to UA and the art community and for returning students to present new works created over the summer. Included are new grad students Nathan Childers (painting), Dillan Ladner (ceramics), Hannah Lewis (printmaking), Katharine Murray (printmaking); and returning students Ryan Akers (painting), Zoe Fitch (painting), Parker Hunt (ceramics), Molly Lay (sculpture), Upneet Kaur Mair (printmaking), Kole Nichols (printmaking), Shivam Pawar (printmaking), Ashlee René Thompson (painting), Will Henry (printmaking) and Sandra Vega (printmaking).

UPDATED Hours for the gallery are:

Monday  9:00 am-6:00 pm
Tuesday  12:30 pm-6:00 pm
Wednesday  9:00 am-8:00 pm
Thursday  12:30-1:45 pm AND 3:30-8:00 pm
Friday  10:00 am-2:00 pm

The Sella-Granata Art Gallery is an essential part of the education and development of UA students and our community. The gallery is located at 109 Woods Hall, 7th Avenue, on UA campus in Tuscaloosa and admission is free. The gallery is open to the public and visitors must wear face coverings inside the gallery.
