Work by Grad Student in Printmaking Selected for National Exhibition

An aquatint etching by graduate student Upneet Kaur Mair was selected for the USU Paper & Clay National Juried Exhibition, organized by the Department of Art + Design, Caine College of the Arts, Utah State University. The exhibition runs February 3 through March 6.

Upneet Kaur Mair is a graduate student in printmaking working toward the MFA and serves as a graduate teaching assistant in Drawing I. She holds a BFA in painting from Central India School of Fine Arts, Nagpur, India. Mair has exhibited her work in the 7th Guanlan International Print Biennial 2019, China Printmaking Museum, in Shenzhen. She has participated in numerous exhibitions and workshops in cities across India including Nagpur, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bhopal and Mumbai.
