Assistant Professor Jonathan Cumberland received the Graphic Design USA Award of Excellence for his five “Vaccine Confidence” posters, at GDUSA’s 59th anniversary American Inhouse Design Awards in August. The designs, reproduced on billboards and posters, were funded by a grant from the CDC Foundation and distributed throughout four counties in the Alabama Black Belt.
The American Inhouse Design Awards are the oldest and largest program for inhouse creative excellence. Nearly 7,000 entries were received this year and only the top ten percent were selected as winners.
