Photography Professor’s Work Featured in Online Portfolio

A mysteriously misty outdoor scene with a house and a dog hanging his head.
Christopher Jordan, “Bad Dog,” in the series “Twilight Passages.”

Twilight Passages, a portfolio of photographs by Associate Professor Christopher Jordan, is featured in One Twelve Publishing’s February edition of Poignant Portfolios. In these photographic works, Jordan creates a scene in a tabletop diorama from photographs, cut paper and vellum, then lights them in the studio and re-photographs to create what he terms “a mystical narrative along the edge of suburbia.”

Known for its fine art photographic print annual Diffusion, One Twelve Publishing hosts online galleries, publishes artist books and curates a blog of articles, interviews, serial features, and portfolios on and of fine art photography in Portland, Oregon.
