Studio Art Grad Students Showcase Current Work

The University of Alabama Department of Art and Art History presents Formations, the annual fall studio graduate student show, in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery, October 10-25, 2022. The public is invited to a reception for the artists on Thursday, Oct. 13, from 5:00-7:00 p.m.

The exhibition is an opportunity for new students to introduce themselves to UA and the art community and for returning students to present new works created over the summer. Included are new grad students Jigisha Lokhande (photography), Stephen Blades (sculpture), Celeste Pfau (printmaking), and Debanjaly Sen (painting). Returning students are Ryan Akers (painting), Will Henry (printmaking), Kole Nichols (printmaking), Parker Hunt (ceramics), Molly Lay (sculpture), Nathan Childers (painting), Dillan Ladner (ceramics), and Katharine Murray (printmaking).

Hours are Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon, when school is in session.

The Sella-Granata Art Gallery is an essential part of the education and development of UA students and our community. The gallery is located at 109 Woods Hall, 7th Avenue, on UA campus in Tuscaloosa and admission is free. The gallery is open to the public. Visitors are welcome, although not required, to wear face coverings inside the gallery.
