Top Art Students Exhibit Work for Scholarship Competition

The department of art and art history is pleased to present our Annual Scholarship Exhibition, February 7-21, 2020, in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery, 109 Woods Hall.  The exhibition will feature some of the most diverse and creative work by returning studio art majors vying for scholarships in the department. The students exhibiting are William Bounds (BFA major in digital media), Amber Daum (double major in BFA [sculpture] and anthropology), Rebecca DeLong (double major in marketing and studio art), Alisa Mills (BFA major in painting and drawing), Anna Pollard (BFA major in printmaking), Anna Sella (BFA major in digital media and drawing), Alexandra Thomasson (double major in studio art and psychology), A’Neshia Turner (BFA major in digital media and painting, and Marissa Tyler (BFA major in ceramics with a minor in art history).

The scholarship award winners in studio art and in art history will be announced during the department’s Honors Day ceremonies Friday, April 3, 2020, at 2 p.m.

The Sella-Granata Art Gallery primarily features student exhibitions, as well as visiting artists, and is a vital learning resource for the department of art and art history. Admission to the gallery is free. Hours are Monday through Wednesday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m., Thursday 9 a.m.-8 p.m., Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m. when school is in session. Information about visitor parking is available on the UA parking services website.
