UA Art Students Design Food & Wine Festival Logo

Students in Jonathan Cumberland’s Brand & Identity Systems course (ART 334) designed the logo for this year’s West Alabama Food & Wine Festival, which took place at the Tuscaloosa River Market, Thursday, April 7.

Alyssa Sons, Hannah Trummell and Rachel Walser designed the winning proposal for the festival’s visual identity. Along with the new logo, they created designs for billboards, posters, social media, event badges, voting ballets, and, of course, wine glasses.

Alyssa Sons, from Madison, Alabama, is a senior double major in advertising and studio art. Hannah Trummell, from Vestavia Hills, Alabama, is a senior double major in marketing and studio art. And Rachel Walser, from Alpharetta, Georgia, is a senior BFA major in studio art concentrating in digital media on the graphic design track.
