Giang Pham teaches foundations courses at The University of Alabama, primarily 2D Design and Drawing I. Prior to teaching at UA, Professor Pham taught at the University of Florida and Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Fla. She received her MFA in sculpture from the University of Florida and her BFA in painting and printmaking from the University of Tulsa, Okla.

Professor Pham’s current research centers on the legibility of images and the perception of text in which the viewing experience becomes a metaphor for navigating structural inequities, information inaccessibility and shaping perceptions. More of her work can be viewed at
