Virus Bugging You? Check Out the Art in West Alabama!

Art Roundup from the UA Dept. of Art and Art History: today is Wednesday, July 22, 2020. Thanks to Jude Anogwih and Christopher Logan Goulart for our featured images. Two exhibitions are ending this week at the Dinah Washington Cultural Art Center galleries, but new shows are popping up (August First Friday!). Visitors with masks and practicing safe distancing are welcome in the galleries or stay home and check out all the online exhibitions! The Art Roundup is up every other week for the summer but we’re always here. Keep us updated on all your visual arts events, real and virtual. Please support your local artists wherever you can. Stay home, or wear your mask out and stay safe!

ABOUT THIS CALENDAR

Look for the Art Roundup e-list almost every week, a service of the UA Department of Art & Art History. We hope to provide a more or less comprehensive list of free exhibits and visual arts events in West Alabama (*and sometimes a wider net, esp. if West Alabama folks are showing), with hyperlinks. Follow the links to get more information. To send your exhibition info, unsubscribe to this email, or to change or add an email address, please email: rachel.dobson@ua.edu. Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
