The Sarah Moody Gallery of Art at The University of Alabama presents a year-round schedule of changing exhibitions devoted to contemporary art, including works from the Permanent Collection. The gallery, located in Garland Hall, provides artistic and cultural enrichment for the university and West Alabama communities and is committed to representing a diverse range of artistic practices primarily through exhibition and lectureship.

Sella-Granata Art Gallery

Named in honor of two longtime UA art professors, the late Alvin Sella and Angelo Granata, the Sella-Granata Art Gallery features student exhibitions as well as visiting artists and is an essential part of the education and development of UA students and our community.

Tuesday: 9:00 a.m.-3:15 p.m., 3:30 p.m. -6:00 p.m.

Paul R. Jones Museum

The Paul Jones Museum, located in the heart of downtown Tuscaloosa, presents a year-round schedule of exhibitions of works from the Paul R. Jones Collection of American Art at The University of Alabama as well as hosts guest exhibitions.
The museum honors Mr. Jones’ vision of art, community and continuous learning by hosting lecture series, concerts, workshops, and theatrical performances. The Paul R. Jones Museum is also a classroom for the arts, where students from kindergarten to college experience learning in a new and exciting environment.

University of Alabama Gallery
Hours: Mon-Fri: 9am-4pm

Located at the Dinah Washington Cultural Arts Center, the 1,500-square-foot UA Gallery showcases year-round, rotating exhibits of artistic works, artifacts, textiles and more from permanent collections held by the university and created by faculty, students, and guest artists and designers.
Admission to the gallery is free.
Woods Quad Sculpture Garden

The University of Alabama has a large and growing collection of outdoor, public sculpture. The Woods Quad Sculpture Garden has been growing for many years, but was officially dedicated in August 2014 by then-Dean Robert Olin. Currently, the quad grounds are occupied by Craig Wedderspoon’s Quilted Vessel, Goldie 1971 by Joe McCreary, and much more.
Directions & Parking
The Campus Drive Parking Deck at the corner of Hackberry Lane and Campus Drive provides visitor parking at a nominal cost and is only a five-minute walk to Garland and Woods Halls. Buses also run on varying schedules from the deck.
To walk to Woods Quad from the parking deck, exit the main doors of the parking deck and cross Hackberry Lane southwest to Margaret Drive. Follow Margaret Drive to Capstone Drive, which runs between Gorgas Library and Garland Hall. Follow Capstone Drive to Garland Hall and the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, and to Woods Hall and the Sella-Granata Art Gallery.
