Art & Art History September Faculty Accolades 2021

Assistant Professor Bryce Speed has a solo exhibition, Imagination and Crisis: New Paintings by Bryce Speed at the Creative Arts Gallery in the College of the Redwoods, Eureka, California, August 30-October 14, 2021.

Postdoctoral Research Fellow Celestia Morgan’s photographic work from Redline is part of a three-person exhibition, Distances, at the Alabama Contemporary Art Center in Mobile, curated by Peter Prinz.

Assistant Professor Jamey Grimes recently installed a sculpture, Roil, in the Gadsden Museum of Art, which will be on display for two years.

Daniel White, director of the Paul R. Jones Museum and the UA Gallery, is part of a two-person exhibition, Sustaining Dialogues: Two Painters, at the Alabama Center for the Arts in Decatur, Alabama.
