UA art instructors and student create new art space in Northport

The Grocery – founded by Anne Herbert (MFA 2013 and full-time instructor), Virginia Eckinger (MFA 2014), and Claire Lewis Evans (MFA candidate) – opens its doors on Art Night, September 4. This new artist-run studio, exhibit, and performance space emanates creative vibes from 900 Main Avenue in Northport, Alabama. The artists are now reviewing proposals and studio partners for 2014-2015, if you are interested in a place to work, show, and/or perform.
