UA Grad Student Finalist for AXA Art Prize

Congratulations to MFA graduate student Nathan Childers who has been named a US finalist for the 2023 AXA Art Prize. The AXA Art Prize spotlights figurative artists: “the undiscovered stars” of the future and their work. Childers, a graduate assistant who presented his MA thesis exhibition this year, is headed into his third year as an MFA student in painting. He won for “The Things We Lock Away,” oil on canvas, 32 x 40 inches.
