Tuscaloosa, Ala. — New arrivals will join the present cohort of graduate studio art students in The University of Alabama’s department of art and art history to exhibit art work in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery September 5-19, 2019. The public is invited to a reception for the artists on Thursday, September 5, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. in the SGAG gallery at 109 Woods Hall. The reception will be one of two that evening for Art Night on Woods Quad. The second reception will be held at the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., for an exhibition featuring art by the department’s faculty.

New students Zoe Fitch (painting), Upneet Kaur Mair (printmaking), Shivam Pawar (printmaking), Ashlee Thompson (painting), and Sandra Vega (printmaking) and returning students Katie Adams (sculpture), Jude Anogwih (painting), Chris Byrd (sculpture), Sarah Dittmann (printmaking), Nasrin Iravani (ceramics),  John Klosterman (printmaking), Juan López-Bautista (painting), Kelsey Meadows (ceramics), and Amber Quinn (photography) will all have art works on display.
