Sarah Dittmann (MFA 2021, printmaking) had work selected for the “47th Juried Annual” art exhibition at the Miller Art Museum, Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin, in October 2022. Among 52 artists showing 70 works, Dittmann was awarded a Special Merit Award for her quilted print titled, Mrs. John Kokeš. She is a lecturer in the department of art at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh where she teaches 2D art and drawing.

Sarah Dittmann presented her Master of Fine Arts thesis exhibition, Stitched Together, in March of 2021, at Aaron Sanders Head Studio in Greensboro, Alabama. In that show she featured quilted prints that incorporate her research into her Czech family heritage, especially the traditional sewing arts of her female ancestors. The print, Mrs. John Kokeš, was created by Dittmann for that exhibition.
