Art & Art History Accolades – February 2020

Twilight Passages, a portfolio of photographs by Christopher Jordan, associate professor of photography, is featured in One Twelve Publishing’s February edition of Poignant Portfolios.

Jamey Grimes, full-time instructor, has an invited solo exhibition, Formicarium, at Jones-Carter Gallery, Lake City, South Carolina.

Work by Pete Schulte, associate professor of art, is included in a three-person exhibition at Swan Coach House Gallery in Atlanta. Geo Forms: Randy Jones, Esteban Patino, Pete Schulte is curated by art advisor and appraiser Rebecca Dimling Cochran, curator of the Wieland Collection.

Dr. Doris Sung, assistant professor of art history, published an article on the contemporary Chinese female artist Yin Xiuzhen in Grove Art Online (Oxford Art Encyclopedia).

Nic Tisdale, full-time instructor, has a print included in the group invitational exhibition, Ossuary, at the Milwaukee Institute of Art & Design’s (MIAD) Frederick Layton Gallery January 13 – March 7, 2020.
