The University of Alabama Department of Art and Art History invites you to join us for a closing artists’ reception for the annual fall Studio Graduate Student Show, Thursday, October 7, from 6:00-8:00 p.m., in the Sella-Granata Art Gallery. The exhibition runs through October 8, 2021. Face coverings and social distancing will be required in the gallery (and in all UA buildings). Weather permitting, refreshments will be served outdoors.
We encourage you to come meet the artists and see their works. This exhibition has been an opportunity for new graduate students to introduce themselves to UA and the art community and for returning students to present new works they created over the summer. Included are new grad students Nathan Childers (painting), Dillan Ladner (ceramics), Hannah Lewis (printmaking), Katharine Murray (printmaking); and returning students Ryan Akers (painting), Zoe Fitch (painting), Parker Hunt (ceramics), Molly Lay (sculpture), Upneet Kaur Mair (printmaking), Kole Nichols (printmaking), Shivam Pawar (printmaking), Ashlee René Thompson (painting), Will Henry (printmaking) and Sandra Vega (printmaking).
