OPENING AUGUST 26 – Root and All: P.H. Polk and George Washington Carver.
Photographs of George Washington Carver taken by renowned Alabama photographer, Prentice H. Polk will be on display at The Paul R. Jones Gallery through September 25. Carver, a Tuskegee Institute faculty member at the time, was one of Polk’s most photographed subjects while he was the official photographer at the institute.
A reception will be held on Friday, September 4 from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. at The Paul R. Jones Gallery.
