Grad Student’s Sculpture Carries Environmental Warning

A work by first-year sculpture grad student Amanda Warr, U2 Rewind, was awarded Special Recognition in the 3-dimensional category of Botanicals Art Exhibition 2023 by Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery, currently on display. Another sculpture by Warr, Electrum Cuprum Flora, was accepted to the online exhibition, Climate Changing, by Las Laguna Art Gallery in Laguna Beach, California, February 2-25, 2023. Warr said that the sculptures she creates “are a representation of what our future environment will look like if actions are not taken to preserve nature.”

Amanda Warr holds an MA in sociology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, an associate’s degree in electronic systems technology from Community College of the Air Force, and a BS in social science from Troy University.
