The UA Department of Art and Art History will present scholarship awards for the coming academic year totaling more than $120,000 and recognize outstanding student achievement during the University’s Honors Day on Friday, April 5, 2024. Family and friends are invited to celebrate with the 45 honorees at 2 p.m. in the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art, 103 Garland Hall.
Students awarded scholarships for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year will receive certificates from department chair Professor Jason Guynes and faculty members. A complete list of the honorees will be available after the ceremony.
Since 2020, the department has been able to award more than $550,000 in merit- and need-based scholarships to studio art and art history majors, made possible by our generous donors.
