Book designer Michele Quinn talks to Jonathan Cumberland’s Publication Design students at the UA Press
Book designers Michele Quinn and Sandy Turner Jr. at the University of Alabama Press spoke to Assistant Professor Jonathan Cumberland’s Publication Design class (ART 335) this week. In addition to discussing the process and logistics of designing and producing a book, they shared a wealth of knowledge about working in the publication design industry and how to get started. “It was a great opportunity for my students to hear from two publication designers with extensive experience in the field,” Cumberland said.
