UA Medical Center Features Eclectic Art Exhibition

A new exhibition opens January 28, 2022, at the University Medical Center curated by artist and UA alumna Deborah Hughes. Titled Dimensions, Doodles and Dreams, it runs through the end of March and is part of Wellness Walls for Art, an ongoing series of exhibitions since 2015. Hughes said that the exhibition features an eclectic mix of art made by a variety of artists, several of whom are UA alumni or current UA staff: Abi Brewer (UA sophomore majoring in studio art), Isadora Bullock (BFA 2005), Andy Chaudhuri (UA assistant professor of biology), Jeremiah Colonna-Romano (UA IT Tech Specialist), Rachel Dobson (MA 2007, art history), Deborah Hughes (BFA 1972), Kaitlin Redborg, and Bryce Speed (MFA 2005 and assistant professor of art).

Wellness Walls for Art is an ongoing series of exhibitions sponsored by the University Medical Center, 850 Peter Bryce Boulevard, Tuscaloosa, Ala. Exhibition hours are Mon. – Fri. 8:00- 5:00.
