Josh Miller is a first-year graduate student in photography with an assistantship. He assists in Intro to Digital Photography (ART 218) and Intro to Digital Art (ART 224). His preferred pronouns are he/him. Miller comes with a variety of video and photographic experience, from work as a freelance photographer and a media company creative director to processing photogrammetry for a geospatial mapping company. He has traveled around the country as an aerial photographer and airborne sensor operator using various optical technologies such as LiDAR and multispectral film and digital cameras. For the past decade, he has also co-run Mumblesmith Media, a photography and media company. His films have been accepted to the Portland (OR) Comedy Film Festival, Chicago International REEL Shorts Film Festival, Austin MicroFilm Festival, and St. Louis International Film Festival, among others. Miller holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in film production from Webster University with a minor in screenwriting.
