UA Grad Students Accepted to Louisiana Museum Juried Show

Third-year graduate students Zoe Fitch and Ashlee René Thompson both had work accepted to the 59th Annual Juried Competition at the Masur Museum of Art in Monroe, Louisiana. The works will be on exhibit February 24 – May 7, 2022. A reception on Thursday, March 3, 5:30-7:30 p.m., will include an awards ceremony and a gallery talk by juror Susan Baley at 6:30 p.m.

Rene Thompson‘s work has been chosen for Special Recognition in the Open Exhibition at the Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery, juried into the 55th Montgomery (Ala.) Art Guild Regions Bank Exhibition, and she was named one of five July 2021 Artists of the Month by ArtJobs.

Zoe Fitch’s work was been juried into The In Art Gallery’s 2021 Painting Exhibition and its 2021 Non-Traditional Exhibition, for which she won Best of Show. She held her MA thesis exhibition, It’s Canning Season, in the Sarah Moody Gallery of Art in 2021.
