UA Art and Art History Faculty Accolades – May 2024

Three UA art faculty members were juried into this spring’s ArtFields 2024, a two-week-long art event featuring art exhibited in galleries, community centers, restaurants, shops and other venues around the town of Lake City, South Carolina.

Bryce Speed‘s painting, Ozone Heater, appeared in “The R.O.B.” community center. Charlotte Wegrzynowski‘s three-foot-wide charcoal drawing, Broken, was exhibited in Lake City Nutrition on East Main Street. Tom Wegrzynowski‘s four-foot oil painting, Judgement Day Lucky, adorned the wall of Joe’s Barber Shop on Main Street. In addition, a mixed media work by UA art alumna Kay Sasser Jacoby (BFA 1981), Santorini in My Dreams, was displayed in The R.O.B.
