The Sarah Moody Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of the studio faculty of the UA department of art and art history. 2019 Faculty Biennial Exhibition will open Thursday, September 5 with a reception for the artists from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The show will run through October 11, 2019.

The gallery’s director, William Dooley, said, “This exhibition is a unique opportunity for the University and west Alabama communities to explore the department’s varied research endeavors firsthand in the studio disciplines of ceramics, digital media, drawing, graphic design, painting, photography, printmaking and sculpture.”

This year’s Biennial welcomes the addition of new faculty members Jonathan Cumberland, Holland Hopson, and Wade MacDonald. They join William DooleyAllison GrantJason GuynesChris JordanSarah MarshallGiang PhamPete SchulteSky ShinemanBryce Speed, and Craig Wedderspoon in presenting their current pursuits in studio art.
